ASSESSMENT 1- INTRODUCTION TO QUESTION
Question: How does the media help teenagers choose a healthy lifestyle?
AOI: Human Ingenuity
These days, teenagers are starting to care about their weight. Some of them are choosing a healthy lifestyle as their weight loss program but some ends up becoming an anorexic. That is why I think this topic is important. However, I am going to talk about how and why teenagers are choosing the right way to lose weight.
Healthy lifestyle is when we as a teenager eat normally and healthily. What I mean by healthy is not just eat anything we want. It means that we have to foods that contain enough protein and vitamins. Such as, chicken, fish, vegetables and fruits. It is not good to eat snacks because they contain too much sugar. Exercises are also important for our health and of course teenagers that have a healthy lifestyle do lots of sport activities to stay strong. If we do a lot of exercises, it means we have to take enough rests everyday. Because muscles are formed while we are taking a rest, not while we are doing an exercise.
I found an article that supports my opinion. So, right now I am going to add some information about the protein our bodies need. Extra protein is very important to gain muscle especially if we are athletes. Eating enough calories is also very important for building muscle. We can’t build new muscles without calories. Commonly, people eat around 5 ounces of protein foods such as meat, fish, and chicken. Also 3-5 ounces of dairy protein such as milk yogurt and cheese.
The 9 questions:
1. Why is being healthy so important?
2. How long does it take to lose fat and gain muscle?
